She is designed to be made with 100% Cotton Fingering Weight yarn, a size B (2.25 mm) hook and is crocheted around an empty surprise egg. Here are the modifications that I made to the original pattern, which I hope will help anyone here in the U.S. who wishes to make this lovely Minirumi without the egg and with larger yarn.
